A garden bed is a defined area in the garden where different plants can grow in. Our services include all the necessary tasks to maintain a sustainable environment around the flowering beds. It’s a highly skilled service that combines the knowledge and identification of every plant, nutrient deficiencies, soil structure, weeds, pests, and water demands.

Our Garden Bed Care Services Include:

Tilling Soil

Tilling is a cultivation form that is necessary when preparing the garden bed for planting or adding and mixing organic material. Also, it loosens and aerates the top layer of the soil and destroys the root of the weeds. Nevertheless, it's a practice that has to be done only when it's necessary. Regular tillage of the soil may negatively affect the soil structure and lead to other complications. So we suggest tilling of the soil maximum twice a year and preferably during autumn or spring.

Mulching

Mulching is the application of materials on the surface of the ground. Mulch keeps the moisture in the soil and improves the quality of the soil by providing essential nutrients. Also, reduces the growth of weeds and improves the appearance of the garden beds. The materials that we use as mulch are bark, wood chippings, compost, slate, pebbles, gravel, stone chippings. Our mulching applications start from Autumn until late spring when weeds have not yet germinated, but the installation can be done any time of the year.

Weeding

Weeds are growing in every garden and cultivation is an inevitable task to maintain a garden bed without them. By digging them off, pulling them out, and chopping them down we try to minimize their effect on the plants that we are growing. Weeds are growing any time of the year, so a regular inspection and removal of any weed is considered mandatory for the healthy appearance of the garden bed.

Weed Fabric Installation

Weed fabric installation is the natural way to control weeds in your garden beds and minimize the use of herbicides. After the laying of the fabric in the flower beds, we open holes and put the plants directly to them. Then we cover the fabric with the mulching materials(bark, gravel) so they can look more attractive.
